Dr. Mohammed Hussein Askar past experience spans 16 years in Critical care fields. Completed his medical doctor degree Intensive care medicine (MD) from Cairo University (2018), National American Board of Echocardiography (2015), Diploma of preventive cardiology (2011) and Master degree of Emergency and Critical care medicine (2009).
Dr. Mohammed had been a resident for 6 years as a Specialist in critical care medicine and emergency medicine at the Alexandria main university hospital, Egypt. In addition, Dr. Mohammed has experience of over 2 years working as specialist of Intensive care unit at AL Qassami hospital, and 1 year experience as specialist and adjunct clinical tutor intensive care unit at Thumbay hospital Ajman, UAE.
Dr. Mohammed completed two years in Provita LTCU (Long term care unit), as specialist of critical care unit in Sharjah branch, Medical director and head of LTCU unit in Dubai -DIP branch.
His areas of interest are general (ICU), Cardiac care units and Long term care units, he is expert in implementing (transthoracic echocardiography, central venous line, arterial line, temporary pacemaker insertion, advanced airway management and advanced mechanical ventilation).
Dr. Mohammed has attended courses on Basic and Advanced Life support, Multi professional critical care course, vascular ultrasonography training and advanced course in mechanical ventilation by the European society of intensive care medicine. He is a certified in ALS by the European Resuscitation Council (ERC) and Trauma life support.
He is fluent in speaking Arabic and English.
