Dr. Mohammad joined NMC Provita on April 2014, bringing in vast experience in pediatric intensive care and airway management, gained in the last 11 years of his professional career, NMC Provita is a rehabilitation center for chronic ventilated cases, I am taking care of 21 ventilated pediatric cases, taking care of their airway ventilation, chronic medications adjustments and any active acute illness on top of their chronic diseases.

Prior to his tenure at NMC Provita, I spent six years at Tawam Hospital as a PICU specialist from 2008- 2014. Tawam hospital is a famous tertiary hospital in UAE, and in the unit I worked before we had total of 13 beds plus another 8 beds in intermediate care unit, most of the time full, and we had teaching activities there, I was participating in daily scientific and teaching activities beside supervising and teaching pediatric residents, I got best PICU physician award for 2 years and I received certificates and awards from the hospital administration.

On 2007 I worked at King Khalid University Hospital (KKUH) the teaching Hospital of King Saud University the first university in Saudi Arabia, KKUH is a large referral hospital in Riyadh with capacity of 780 beds, the PICU capacity was 9 beds, Average admissions: 1-2 patients /day of all kinds of paediatric critical cases including trauma cases, post-operative cases.

In the PICU I was working with three consultants’ paediatric intensivists, one permanent paediatric resident and 1-2 paediatric rotating residents, and 29 nurses, I was working as paediatric specialist: taking care of the patients, supervising and participating in the training of my junior colleagues including resident’s interns and sub interns.

We have 2/month PICU teaching activities at the level of the paediatric department as PICU case presentation and paediatric morbidity and mortality meeting, Attending daily morning paediatric presentation, Weekly paediatric grey case presentation, and monthly NICU, paediatric emergency case presentation, and consultant’s grand rounds.

From 2003 – 2007

I completed a post-graduation residency program in pediatrics, receiving my MD in 2003 from Jordan University of Science and Technology, I got Jordanian board in pediatrics from Jordan medical council and high degree of specialty in pediatric from JUST University.

I finished my MBBS degree in medicine from Jordan University in 1998, Jordan University is the first one in Jordan and one of the best 500 universities in the world as per last QS University ranking 2023.
