Nithaya is a licensed Occupational Therapist with extensive experience of over 15 years in Adult and Pediatric Rehabilitation, mainly in the Middle East region. She holds a postgraduate degree in Developmental Disabilities from KEM Hospital, Mumbai. Before joining NMC Provita in 2017, she worked as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist specializing in long-term ventilation care for children at Hamad Medical Corporation, Qatar. Nithaya has a background in providing therapy to children with special needs in outpatient and school-based settings, with expertise in Splinting and Seating and Positioning solutions for chronically ill patients.

Since August 2019, Nithaya has been in a leadership role as Team Lead in the Rehabilitation Department at NMC Royal Hospital and later transitioned to the position of Manager of Inpatient Rehab services. Her professional qualities include strong leadership skills, a high level of competency in her field, and a genuine interest in research and departmental development.
