

Biography
Rene Hartman is an experienced Physiotherapist with over 20 years of practice. She graduated as a
Physiotherapist from the University of the Western Cape, South Africa in 2000 and later completed a
Master's degree in Healthcare Management from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) in
2009. Before joining NMC ProVita in 2012, Rene gained valuable experience working as a Clinical
Physiotherapist in South Africa, the United Kingdom, and the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Throughout her career, Rene has developed expertise in assessing and treating both adult and pediatric
patients with various conditions, including neuro musculoskeletal disorders, neurological conditions,
orthopedics, and general surgery. Her specializations include cardio-respiratory ICU and cardiac
rehabilitation. Additionally, she has a special interest in Women's Health and treating pelvic floor
conditions.
Currently serving as the Senior Manager for Rehabilitation Services at NMC ProVita, Rene is responsible
for the development and management of Long-term care and Rehabilitation services across all entities
of the organization. Her extensive experience, combined with her leadership skills, makes her a valuable
asset in providing high-quality rehabilitation services at NMC ProVita.
