Shone is an experienced and licensed Physiotherapist from India with a career spanning 15 years. He
graduated in 2006 and furthered his qualifications with a PG Diploma in Geriatric Care in 2009. Over the
years, he has acquired specialized certifications, including Neuro-musculoskeletal-Taping in 2017 from
EMA and Clinical Dry Needling from the Prime Physio Dry Needling Institute in the UK in 2022.
Throughout his career, Shone has demonstrated expertise in various areas of physiotherapy, particularly
in cardio, long term, and tertiary rehab, with a focus on home-based care. He previously served as a lead
therapist in a cardiac rehab unit at a medical college hospital. In 2012, he relocated to the UAE and
became one of the pioneering staff members at a prominent home care rehab company in Abu Dhabi.
Subsequently, he joined NMC Provita in 2014, holding different positions as a Physiotherapist and Team
Lead. Presently, he serves as the Rehab Manager, overseeing a team of Physiotherapists, Occupational
Therapists, and support staff.
Shone's areas of clinical interest include cardiac rehabilitation, neurological rehabilitation with a specific
focus on patients with multiple sclerosis (MS) and stroke, as well as skills in dry needling and kinesio
taping techniques.
