Dr. Hussam Touma completed his training in the Hospitals of Ministry of Health in Syria. He also trained in Rehabilitation of Children with Disabilities at Don Calabria Institute, Milan, Italy. He obtained the Syrian Board in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and became a Fellow of European Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine.  

Dr. Touma is interested in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound. He completed a Diploma of Expert of Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Granted with the Universidad Catolica San Antonio de Murcia (UCAM), Spain. He is also interested in education and taught Rehabilitation in Neuro and Muscular disorders, Rehabilitation in Geriatry and Rehabilitation after Sport injuries in the Faculty of Health Science, Al-Baath University, Syria.

As a member of NMC Provita Family, he is working hard with the team at NMC Royal in an outpatient clinic as well as in inpatient long- and short-term post-acute rehabilitation, to achieve the high values of the company in providing high standard rehabilitative care in UAE.

He is interested in neurological rehabilitation, musculoskeletal medicine, chronic pain and interventional rehabilitation and pain management procedures.
